Rangoon Review

Rangoon Released Today with a Positive WOM everywhere, Rangoon is one Film which rarely happens in Bollywood and a treat for serious Film Lovers. So Our Rangoon Review is Here.

Vishal Bharadwaj gave Bollywood most unforgettable characters, But it is sorrowful that he couldn’t establish himself as a commercial director, his films are appreciated by the critics and don’t have a broad appeal mostly. But Fortunately, Films like his have a separate section in Audience.Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj’s third collaboration is Rangoon. First two films in their combination were marked as masterpieces, and this one too is getting near to that Reviews.

Rangoon Review

Runtime of Rangoon is 2 hours 47 mins in the first half film takes it time to establish the world and the characters. The Film starts with Nawab Malik aka Shahid Kapoor and Ends With Saif Ali Khan. The Plot of the Film is not that simple as it looks in the Trailer there are too many characters. It is not the typical Love Triangle which we all expected. There is an equal balance maintained between the Love and War.

At times Rangoon looks like a patriotic film too, Vishal Bharadwaj shines with his unique music and direction. The Second half of the movie is brilliant keeps you engaged throughout the end.Vishal Bharadwaj takes you into his world and at the end leaves you wanting for more! The Cinematography is Hollywood level makes u feel u are actually in the War.It is the Major Advantage to the Film.

Coming to performances, it is apparent that Shahid Kapoor will excel in his Role and that is what exactly Happened. He Plays his Character with such perfection, you can feel the pain in his eyes itself.Kangana is Spectacular as Miss Julia, Her portrayal by Vishal in the Second Half is definitely award worthy.Surprisingly, Saif is brilliant in his role too.Rangoon is a package of Lead Actors offering Career Best Performance.

Plus points

1.Shahid, Saif and Kangana’s Classy Act

2.Second Half

4.War scenes

Overall, Rangoon is that film which makes you crave for more such Films.World War2 Films are not frequently attempted by Bollywood and when a Director Like Vishal Bharadwaj handles it, that will remain as a classic for sure.Rangoon is not everyone’s Cup of tea.If u are a serious movie lover and want the Industry to make Different Genre Films Then definitely it is a must watch for such audience!
